“This is gem in the middle of the mountains. The hotel is beautiful beyond words, the staff is excellent the food delicious. We had an amazing stay and will come back for sure. For me as a wildlife photographer, this was Paradise.”

“It was amazing seeing all the different birds from their restaurant patio. I saw way more kinds of birds including two tucans from here than from the actual birds watching tours. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Nice city view too. ”

Cannot recommend this place enough if you are looking for a quiet place in the cloud forest. “What a terrific setting nestled in the mountains outside of Cartaga. The Tico style cabin had two bedrooms and a single bath with a great room containing the kitchen, dinning room and living room. I spent most of my time on the deck. Was clean and well maintained. ”

“This property consists of 3 relatively new cabins located inside a secure gate beside to the main road that circles the beautiful Orosí valley. The cabins are surrounded by greenery including a giant stand of bamboo and orange trees from the family’s orchard, which smell delightful! The road is quite busy during the day but very quiet at night and we had no difficulty sleeping. The cabins themselves block most of the outside sound. There was plentiful hot water for the shower from the rooftop……
